Manic Monday

It's been quite awhile that I don't make nail art.
So yesterday night, I did something different to my nails.
This is not easy to do.
Painting my left hand was the hardest part.
It took more than one hour for me to finish both hands.

I used Rimmel black polish, Rival de Loop in sparkling princess, and dotting tool to draw the Z-line.
This is a one-coat polish. Rimmel has a wider Xpress brush for easy application.
It dries in less than 60 seconds.
Oh, my bumpy! I hope it's not plus because today morning I was craving for something sweet.

That's all for today.

Faces

I'm surprised.
I'm happy.
I'm cute.
Hmmm, I think about it.
I'm pretty.
I'm naughty.
I am sad.
I'm angry.
I'm in love.

Note: I do respect food and I love eating veggies. These are the rejected part of the vegetables that I cannot use anymore for cooking.

Esprit Styling Lipgloss

A glossy review. Let's find out if it's worth to buy or not. I'm gonna review it now for you lovelies.

Esprit claims that  the gloss lasts 6 hours of high-gloss and full-looking lips,
smooth, and light in texture. It's a high shine moisturizing lipgloss.
It is hypoallergenic and dermatologist certified.
It has 10 color shades to choose from.

What I am thinking about it?

Color: 4/5
This is my first gloss from Esprit cosmetic line.
I've chosen  202 Seductive Rose which is pinkish.
It has very tiny  particles that shimmer when you're facing the light.
All you  need is to apply more to see the pink color. I like this gloss for candylook.

Smell & Taste: 5/5
It has a mild scent and a little candy taste.

Consistency: 5/5
The gloss isn't sticky, super smooth on the lips.I agree that it lasts 6 hours, but doesn't give a fuller effect, 75% yes.
One thing I like is the brush applicator wand.
Brush applicator is better than spongy one for hygienic reason.
It's shorter and easier to handle.
The texture is lighter. It doesn't leave a heavy feeling even you put more.
It hydrates the lips as well, no flaking.

Price: 5/5
It's very affordable. It costs 8 Euro only.

My verdict:
I will buy for more but in other color probably in 200 Scenic Rose or 302 Glitter Gold.

Would I recommend this gloss?
Definitely yes!

Has anyone tried this lipgloss before?
How is it?

I't's 11:00 p.m. here. Til my next post..

Have a nice weekend!

Shop Savvy

Hello lovelies,  I have been busy lately,  no time to blog. We went to France last weekend. I was not feeling well the past days. I had terrible toothpain. I thought  it won't come back.  So whether I like invisalign or not I must wear it again huhuhu. I hate aligners. Better let's change topic.
So what's something new in Ginger's closet? Finally,  I got what I really wanted for this month.

Tommy Hilfiger 2 in 1 Knitted Top
Gant Sailor Knitted Rollneck
Calvin Klein Jacket
Also shopping isn't complete without visiting the house of Villeroy & Boch. I've got a complete set of South African inspired Kalahari round bowls and vases. I like the design very much. These decors are perfect for my massive table.

That's all for now. It's time for me to go to bed. Before I go here are some shopping tips.
  • Buy less but good quality.
  • Think and look twice when buying something.
  • Invest in good clothes.
  • Buy something that is versatile.
  • Choose a neutral color that goes anything inside your wardrobe.
Goodnight...

How to Fake Fuller Lips?

All we  need is just  a little color and shine for a bigger-looking kisser.

The Technique
Source: Cosmopolitan Magazine/USA

Define the outline of your lips with a pencil that matches your natural lip color exactly.
Avoid using a darker shade since it can look like an obvious line around lips.
Blend in the edges with a lip brush.

Apply a pinky beige lipstick.
One with a high-shine finish will reflect light, making your mouth appear fuller.

For pop, add a touch of shimmery white or pale gold eye shadow to the center of lips.

Top with a thin layer of gloss, but avoid the corners, where it can cause lipstick to spread.

Highlight the curve of your upper lip with a pearly rose eye shadow. Trace it along your cupid's bow with a slightly wet lip-liner brush for a pouty effect.
Here's the outcome...

Here are 7 Facts About Me:

 1. I love to cook. I want to improve my culinary skill. I'm having a private cooking lesson now.

2.  My fetishes are shoes and clothes.

3. I am liliputian.

4. I have three favorite products for my face. Here are my face savers:

This is absolutely classic. It has been around for ages. My mother used it before and passed it down to my sisters, and then I started using this too when I was in college until now as a make-up remover. It completely removes all the dirts. It moisturize the skin as it cleanse. The cream is very frothy, a little bit greasy when you apply too much.  This is a great product I keep on switching back to.

I'm a long time user of Celeteque products. After a year of using Clearasil I switch back again to Celeteque. What I love using this product  is it has mild cleansing agents and moisturizers that effectively clean without hurting your skin. It leaves a smooth feeling everytime I wash my face.

Why I am loving Lacura Quince Facefluid? It gives total dewiness in my skin. I apply it in the morning after taking a shower and at night before going to bed. It is also ideal  as make-up base. This fluid is not greasy. It has a fruity scent that  I keep on smelling all time.

This time I am thinking to ditch some products and switch to organic or mild ones.  The lesser chemical we put on our skin, the better. I'm happy  I have less break-outs right now.

5. I'm a hotheaded commander and until now I am still learning how to be gentle.

6. I love cats and dogs.

7. S-weet
    I- cannot live without chinchunsu.
    M-ore on funny side, krung-krung
    P-inay ako.
    L-ovely but fiendish sometimes.
    E-xotically mindorenian spice :D

Flower Power

The first thing I saw when I woke-up this morning. A simple thing that really makes my day happy.

There was a story behind. We went to the supermarket to buy foods. I spotted this plant and put inside the cart. When we got home, while checking the receipt I found out "winterleggings" was included, but we never bought winter stuff. I thought the cashier got a mistake.  My husband checked it  and found out that the name of the plant is winterleggings. :D :D :D :D . I couldn't help myself laughing about it.
7 Happiness Tips:

1. Want to be happy? Give a little.
Want to be happier? Give a lot.
2. Enjoy the simple things.
3. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
4. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies.
    Your home is your refuge.
5. Cherish your health.
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, ask for help.
6. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
7. Dwell in gratitude ~ moment to moment.

Weekend's Crunchy Munchy

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.  I had a very busy weekdays and a peaceful Saturday. My Sunday is great as well. I am grateful for the nice weather today. I didn't see the dawn because I woke-up too late. A friend invited us for a dinner yesterday. He ordered couscous for us. Couscous is a north-african dish. It is very delicious. I ate and drank a lot of red wine plus the restaurateur gave me  two glasses of Champagne.  I got-up today with such a big head. So this is how couscous looks like. It is served under a meat and vegetable stew.

Yesterday morning we went to Asian shop and  bought dessert snacks.  I haven't tasted jackfruit chips before. But when I started to munch it I was delighted. The smell was really good, very crunchy and delightful. I think I must go back to that store and buy more. One pack costs 2,59 Euro.

A yummy coconut milk flavored rice crackers(2,00)

Sesami Mochi(2,59)

We went also to Aldi. These are what I've found inside. They called it "Schweineohren" in German - "Palmiers" in English - "Tainga ng baboy" in my own language . Sounds funny! They are  made from puff pastry. It is very delicious.

For lunch I cooked Rinder Roulade. I'm gonna post the recipe soon. That's all for today. But before I go thanks lovelies for sharing me your thoughts about the dresses. I'm happy to have it soon.
