Ginger cooked

Chow Mein with Pork


225g Egg Noodles
2tbsp Sesame Oil
Spring Onions, chopped
1 Carrot, grated
Paprika, deseeded & cut into strips
225g Pork Fillet
Beans, cut into strips
2tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
1tsp Sambal Oelek
1tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 Garlic clove, crushed

 PREPARATION:
  • Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions, drain and set aside.
  • Fry the pork fillet until it's brown.
  • Heat half the oil in a large wok.
  • Stir the spring onions, paprika, beans ,garlic, sambal oelek, oyster sauce and the pork.
  • Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add soy sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Then transfer to a bowl and keep warm.
  •  Mix with noodles and serve immediately.

 This oriental dish can be whipped up to10 minutes for a speedy lunch or supper.

Nice! Something very filling and can be cooked as fast as 10 minutes! What I like about it is that is has 2 of my favorites, bell peppers and spring onions! :)

Thanks so much for sharing this! I'm Chinese, but the only Chinese dish I know how to cook is fried rice lol, pretty sad right? I can't wait to try this recipe out, it looks simple enough even for a cooking amateur like me :D
